Celtic will get first taste of Hampden on semi-final weekend with the Betfred Cup semi-final against Hibs taking place at 5.30pm on Saturday November 2.
The kick off time is bound to inconvenience long distance fans with the match scheduled to finish around 7.30pm with transport links around Hampden notoriously congested and public transport options limited on a Saturday night.
Neil Lennon’s side will however get to play first on the Hampden turf with the other semi-final taking place the following day with a 3pm kick off.
In previous seasons the semi-finals have been scheduled on the back of European fixtures but this season Celtic are at home to St Mirren on the Wednesday before they head to Hampden to meet Hibs.
