Ilir Meta found himself in transit between Tokyo and Tirana as Celtic carved up another dramatic chapter of European history.
Work often gets in the way for the President of Albania but as he touched down on home soil there was good news to share from his favourite football club.
President Ilir caught up with some Celtic fans during a diplomatic visit to Sarajevo in July- since then he Just Can’t Get Enough as he follows the adventures of the hoops across the continent.

There was pain and disappointment in August as interest in the Champions League was halted by Cluj but autumn has been lit up by seven points from three Europa League ties.
There is still work to be done to ensure European football after Christmas but in Tirana and elsewhere Celtic fans are enjoying the afterglow of a memorable European night that turned the spotlight firmly into Glasgow.
