One lucky Celtic fan enjoyed the 6-0 win over Ross County more than most with Shannon heading home with Scott Brown’s armband.
After the final whistle the Celtic players saluted the fans with young supporters taken to the match by the Kano Foundation staying around till the very end.
Rewarding their dedication Brown headed behind the goal to hand Shannon his yellow captain’s armband.

Since 2010 the Kano Foundation has been providing tickets to kids u-13 who wouldn’t normally be able to get along to Celtic matches.
Various fund-raising events are held throughout the year with their annual dinner a popular event attended by many former players.
Shannon and the Kano kids got to enjoy the best of Broonie during the 90 minutes as Celtic hit Ross County for six.
The skipper wasn’t among the goal-scorers but put in a typically commanding performance as goals from Mo Elyounoussi (2), Odsonne Edouard (2) plus strikes from James Forrest and Callum McGregor sent Celtic back into top place in the SPFL.
