Vakoun Bayo has shared a praying picture as he prepares to see a specialist over his injury.

The striker picked up a knock during a substitute appearance at Aberdeen last Sunday and missed the games against St Mirren and Hibs.

After an initial scan on Thursday he will see a specialist today with Neil Lennon fearing that the striker could be out of action for six weeks.

Bayo has started just one SPFL Premiership match this season, to most fans he scored twice against Hearts but Craig Levein managed to get them recorded as own goals.

With Odsonne Edouard starting every match over the last month the prospect of Leigh Griffiths making a return is welcome news for Lennon.

The former Hibs striker returned to full training last week and should be on course to be in the squad that faces Motherwell on Sunday.

Boli Bolingoli is the only new injury doubt from Saturday’s 5-2 win over Hibs at Hampden where Mikey Johnston made it onto the bench after a two month lay-off.
