Celtic fans enjoyed one of their biggest celebrations in years as they saluted their heroes 2-1 victory over Lazio.
Generations of supporters have travelled to Italy only to have their hopes shot to pieces but the 10,000 inside the Stadio Olympico made sure that those past hard luck stories were put right.
It had been a worrying start for the travelling support as they watched Ciro Immobile open the scoring after just seven minutes.

Late in the first half James Forrest levelled the scores but Lazio hit back and created three good chances in quick succession but failed to score.
Both sides had their chances in the second period but deep into stoppage time Odsonne Edouard slipped a pass through to Olivier Ntcham who clipped his shot over the keeper and into the net.
There was no way back for Lazio as the visiting fans set off on an epic celebration.
