Hugh Keevins has denied being pinned against a wall by Scott Brown at a Scotland get together a decade ago.
The veteran broadcaster has recounted the story a number of times on Radio Clyde but last night the Celtic skipper gave his take on the confrontation to 3,000 fans enjoying A Nigh With Broony at the SEC.
After arriving at Celtic from Hibs in 2007 Brown was subjected to a lot of media criticism with many pundits left with egg on their face after claiming that the midfielder was about to join Kevin Thomson at Ibrox.
During preparations for an international at Cameron House Brown discovered that Keevins was among the media pack and sought out his critic.
What happened next is up for debate, the two journalists who were on the scene have denied that their colleague was pinned against the wall as claimed.
Tonight, the details of the incident were discussed on Radio Clyde’s Super Scoreboard phone-in show.
I’ve told that story so often I should make it my Christmas single!

You can confirm there was no pinning against any wall in that case!

Correct! My abiding memory (a very bemused) Paul Hartley asking me “what the **** is that about?” ?
