Moi Elyounoussi and Boli Bolingoli ‘aren’t a million miles away’ from returning to action.

The return of Elyounoussi will be a major boost with the on-loan Southampton winger picking up the October Player of the Month award after an impressive run of form and highlighted by key goals.

The 25-year-old returned early from international duty due to injury and will miss out against Rennes but it seems that it’s realistic that he will feature next week at home to Hamilton.

Bolingoli picked up a hamstring injury during the League Cup semi-final win over Hibs at the start of November with Jonny Hayes and Greg Taylor stepping in to take his place.

You have to take it one game at a time, we look at some of the players that we have coming back in to the squad, where they can figure, help out the players who’ve been in.

Mikey (Johnston) coming back in will be a big plus for us, Elyounoussi isn’t a million miles away from being back in the squad as is Bolingoli. At the minute we are looking at it game by game.

The League Cup Final at Hampden on December 8 will be the target for Elyounoussi and Bolingoli with Lennon looking to have as many of his squad available as possible for that fixture.

After the Hampden date a number of players could be excused the midweek trip to Cluj, after the match in Romania Celtic face Hibs on December 15, Hearts on the 18th and Aberdeen on December 21.
