Greg Taylor is set to earn his second Scotland cap on Saturday when Steve Clarke’s side face Cyprus in a dead-rubber European Championship tie.

Andy Robertson is one of four call offs from the squad with Scott McTominay, Ryan Fraser and Lee Cooper all pulling out.

With Kieran Tierney already out of the squad Taylor is the only left-back in the squad and seems to be a certain starter for the match against Cyprus.

Arsenal came in for criticism for with-holding Tierney when the squad was announced but Liverpool, Manchester United and Bournemouth have also pulled players out for essentially pointless matches against Cyprus and Kazakhstan.

Taylor has only made one first team appearance for Celtic but has been listed as a substitute in the last two matches against Lazio and Motherwell.

Lewis Morgan has been called up to the squad as a replacement for Fraser.
