Christopher Jullien is hoping that his only defeat of the season can be the making of him as a Celtic player.
The Frenchman was left all shook up by the 2-0 defeat against Livingston after journeyman Lyndon Dykes pushed and bullied his way through the match.
Jullien had enjoyed a flawless Celtic career up to that point- starring in the Glasgow derby success at Ibrox where he snuffed out the home strike-force while barely breaking sweat.
The player that turned up at Livingston a month later was barely recognisable as Celtic suffered their only domestic defeat of the season but Jullien believes that he learned some priceless lessons on that plastic surface.
The Sun reports:
He told the Daily Mail: “I always say that in my life I never lose, you know? So, when I lose a game I learn.
“I said to the team and the coach after the Livingston game that I was sorry because I let my emotions get to me that day. I lost my head in the game. It’s something that happened but I don’t think it’s going to happen again. Every bad thing I do in my life, every bad moment I see as an opportunity to get better.
“I have thought this way since I was young. So, I can definitely say that the game at Livingston has made me stronger. It helps me every day. And it helped me in Rome.”
Livingston are next up for Jullien when the domestic game returns on November 23 with the chance to put one over on Dykes.
Unlike many of his team-mates Jullien will enjoy some time off during the international break, allowing him additional time to settle and prepare for the punishing December schedule.
Defensive team-mate Kris Ajer will play against the Faroe Isles and Malta before he returns to prepare for the Livingston.
