Neil Lennon won’t be worried if Celtic fail to bring in any more players during the January transfer window.

So far Patryk Klimala and Ismaila Soro have been brought in but neither is likely to go straight into the team and strengthen the first XI.

Last week Lennon spoke of bringing in a tried and tested winger in the same mould as Moi Elyounoussi but with less than four days left of the transfer window it seems that such a signing is no closer.

Covering today’s media conference, The Sun reports:

If I don’t do anything else I’ll be happy. I have a great squad with real quality in it. We’ve got a couple of players in and we’ve streamlined the squad a little bit.

Leigh Griffiths and Jozo Simunovic have contributed since the end of the winter break but the side has again been struck by injury.

Nir Bitton and Kris Ajer were missing from the squad that beat Ross County at the weekend with Elyounoussi and Hatem Abd Elhamed both out for extended periods.

Scott Sinclair has been sold, Lewis Morgan’s move to Inter Miami has still to be completed with Jack Hendry, Eboue Kouassi, Jonathan Afolabi and Lee O’Connor going out on loan.
