Neil Lennon has returned to a 4-2-3-1 formation for the visit of Ross County with Leigh Griffiths picked as the sole striker.

Kris Boyd will have to review his stats as the Scotland striker starts his third match in succession with Neil Lennon making three changes to the side that won at Kilmarnock.

Jeremie Frimpong and Kris Ajer are missing from defence as well as Odsonne Edouard who is on the bench. Moritz Bauer starts at right-back with recalls for James Forrest and Mikey Johnstone as Celtic look to go five points clear at the top of the SPFL table.

County have had a difficult return to action since the winter break, losing out to Ayr United in the Scottish Cup then drawing 0-0 at home to Hearts in midweek.

Back at the start of December Celtic enjoyed a comfortable 4-1 win in Dingwall which came on the back of a 6-0 win at Celtic Park in October against the newly promoted side.

With three away games on the bounce coming- at St Johnstone, Hamilton and Motherwell- the hoops will be keen to make the most of home comforts even though Kevin Clancy is in charge of successive SPFL Premiership matches at Celtic Park.

CELTIC: Forster; Bauer, Simunovic, Jullien, Hayes; Brown, McGregor, Forrest, Ntcham, Johnston; Griffiths

SUBS: Gordon, Taylor Rogic, Karamoke, Edouard, Welsh, Klimala
