Celtic have been linked with a move for Niclas Eliasson.
The 24-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season with the report in the Daily Record containing a number of key phrases from Transfer Bingo including ‘senior source’ ‘on the club’s radar’ and ‘deadline-busting move’.
Eliasson has been a regular in the Bristol City side this season with three goals in 24 Championship appearances as his side push for a promotion place.
On Friday Neil Lennon mentioned looking to bring in a Moi Elyounoussi type winger who has already been over the course and distance.
Swedish international Elliasson fits the bill as a winger but after coming through the ranks at AIK Solna and Norrkoping it is only this season that he has been a regular starter at Ashton Gate.

And a senior Celtic source confirmed to MailSport that he is firmly on their radar and has been watched. However they face competition from Serie A title chasers Lazio and Spaniards Villarreal.
There seems to be some confusion over Elliasson’s contract with the report in the Record suggesting that Bristol City can enact a 12-month extension on the Swede’s contract.
