Neil Lennon is looking to bring in one time served signing before the transfer window closes with a winger at the top of his wish list.

During the summer the hoops boss snapped up Moi Elyounoussi with the on-loan Southampton man a key figure as Celtic hit top gear in the autumn.

So far this month Lennon has brought in a striker and midfielder with the signings of Patryk Klimala and Ismaila Soro.

Leigh Griffiths and Jozo Simunovic have re-emerged after the winter break but with names being thrown at the club on a daily basis Lennon is waiting for the right player to appear before midnight on Friday.

The Daily Record reports:

We’ve got some good young talent in the team, but, ideally, you’d be looking to bring in an Elyounoussi-type, one that has been over the course and distance before.

With Lewis Morgan expected to join Scott Sinclair in departing Celtic another winger would give Lennon greater attacking options.

Daniel Arzani and Marian Shved have still to start a competitive match and fall short of the ‘course and distance’ description.
