Jack Hendry is a transfer target for Blackpool and Lincoln according to a report in the Daily Record.

2019 was a disaster for the defender as he dropped completely out of the first team picture, missing out on the Europa League dead rubber away to Cluj when Neil Lennon started with a shadow side.

Hendry has been a regular in the Celtic reserve side but matches against Partick Thistle and Queens Park are unlikely to project his career forward.

Celtic paid Dundee £1.2m for the defender two years ago but after a run of matches at right-back he found himself on the outside looking in as Kris Ajer and Filip Benkovic featured in central defence last season.

Under Neil Lennon Hendry has made one substitute appearance, against Partick Thistle in the League Cup, with the opportunity to go to League One giving him a platform to get his career back on track.

Both clubs have expressed an interest in taking him on loan, with a contract running until June 2022 there is virtually no likelihood of his terms being matched elsewhere.

During the summer transfer window Kilmarnock and Motherwell were reported to be interested in Hendry but nothing concrete emerged.
