Neil Lennon will have to dig deep into his squad to put together a midfield to face Copenhagen tomorrow night.

With Ryan Christie suspended The Sun reports that Olivier Ntcham is crocked with fears that Scott Brown will also be ruled out.

Celtic’s squad depth has been a factor in their domestic success this season with a number of key players unavailable for lengthy periods.

Last week’s 1-1 draw in Copenhagen leaves the tie in the balance with the Danes bound to take hope from Celtic’s latest injury news.

The Sun reports:

CELTIC are sweating on Scott Brown’s fitness ahead of Thursday’s clash with Copenhagen. The Hoops skipper limped off in last week’s 1-1 first-leg draw with a calf strain and missed Sunday’s win over Kilmarnock.

Broony has been undergoing treatment but Neil Lennon fears he will be ruled out. Ryan Christie is suspended after his booking in Denmark and Olivier Ntcham is crocked.

Nir Bitton and Tom Rogic have been pencilled in for starting roles, with Ismaila Soro in contention for a place on the bench. Soro was watched by Lennon in Tuesday’s Reserve Cup tie against Hibs with Ewan Henderson also involved in that match.

Celtic are clear favourites to go through tomorrow night but if they line up without Brown, Ntcham and Christie the tie takes on a different complexion with only Callum McGregor of the regular midfielders in place.

Lennon will host a media conference at lunchtime today but it’s unlikely that any decisions will be taken on the starting XI until shortly before kick-off.
