Ibrox fans turned on their heroes after today’s 0-0 draw at home to Aberdeen.
After winning the Glasgow derby at the end of December a run of home matches were expected to put Steven Gerrard’s side in control of the title race ahead of Celtic’s visit in March.
Stuttering home wins over Stranraer and St Mirren caused a ripple of concern but that turned to an amber warning when Hearts came from behind to inflict a defeat at Tynecastle last Sunday.
In midweek things looked to be back on course with a 2-0 win over Ross County but a calf injury to Jermain Defoe highlighted how vulnerable to Ibrox squad is.
Ianis Hagi and Flo Kamberi showed that the biscuit tin has been emptied but a win over Aberdeen would have narrowed the gap at the top down to just two points.
Derek McInnes’ side were well worth their draw, Allan McGregor picked up the Man of the Match award with Celtic knowing that a win tomorrow over Hamilton will put them seven points in front with all eyes on Ibrox as another title drifts out of sight.

Playing at Ibrox and only playing a attacking way in the last 10mins simply not good enough.Gerrard showing his inexperience?Remember the days of playing 2 up top when at Ibrox.Should always start with a attacking team as we know how the opposition is going to play ? Boring rfc

These fans saying they bottled it need to shut up. Aberdeen parked the bus, booted us all over the pitch and the ref let them. Get behind the team or just be quiet.

That should be our last trip to Dubai. Absolutely no cutting edge since weve come back. Very very poor performance again.
