Hamilton Accies scored one of the scrappiest goals in the history of football to win at Ibrox tonight.

Despite the brave words of Steven ‘All In’ Gerrard yesterday the rot continued as his side lost to the team at the bottom of the table for the second game running.

At half time Gerrard’s side would have known that Celtic had been pegged back to 1-1 by Livingston, within a few minutes of the restart Celtic were behind with the ‘As It Stands’ gap down to 11 points.

Four of Gerrard’s players managed to make contact with the ball before it fell David Moyo who could hardly believe his luck when he poked his shot past a startled Allan McGregor.

With 54 minutes plus stoppage time remaining there was no siege on the Accies goal with less than 10,000 left in the stadium when the final whistle blew.

Rubbing salt into the wounds of the Ibrox fans was news that Tom Rogic had equalised in stoppage time for Celtic.

Despite failing to win a domestic game for the first time this year Celtic still managed to increase their lead at the top of the SPFL table.

In the 8th minute the home fans stood up to give a minute of applause to demonstrate their support for the Liverpool legend in the home dug out.
