Ibrox season tickets will be launched next week.

With five matches outstanding this season the small print on season tickets rules out a refund meaning that fans have only received 14 of the 19 matches that they have paid for.

In November the club announced a £10m shortfall for the year to June 30, so far there has been no announcement to Companies House over any outside investment or fresh share issue.

With Scottish football suspended and no group training permitted before June 10 every club has to carefully plan ahead with Douglas Park preparing for the club for their main influx of cash.

Today Club 1872 stated:

We have also been in close discussion with Rangers about the status of season ticket renewals and the unique situation created by the ongoing restrictions and uncertainty over the pandemic. We know the club is working extremely hard to provide the best possible options for supporters with regard to purchasing a season ticket for next season – including payments options, deadlines and payment methods.

Clearly season ticket revenues are crucial to the club and we are sure supporters will do whatever they can, within their own personal circumstances, to back the club financially through these uncertain times. We aim to provide supporters with as much detail as possible on their options both prior to and following the launch of season tickets, which we expect to take place within the next 7 days. We will update our members and the wider support on this again when we have further information.

Tonight the Ibrox club issued a statement calling for a Members Requisition of SPFL clubs claiming that they have a dossier that requires another independent enquiry.
