Agathe was one of the surprise stars of Martin O’Neill’s side, signed for £50,000 from Hibs just five matches into his Easter Road career after leaving Raith Rovers at the end of his contract.
O’Neill converted the man from the Reunion Isles from a striker to a right wing-back with his pace used to devastating effect as Celtic reached the 2003 UEFA Cup Final.
After leaving Celtic in 2006 his career quickly petered out. After working as an agent the 44-year-old has moved into management with a mammoth task on his hands from the depths of the English pyramid system.
