Lon GdaY Kits threw out the latest Adidas Concept kit to Celtic fans and were met with an underwhelming response.

Earlier this week a version of the late eighties kit apparently modelled by Tom Rogic was well received by fans, striking the right balance between a traditional style kit enjoying a few touches of Adidas.

The home kit published today seems to bring together the worst features of recent kits with too many ‘hoops’ broken with panels down the side.

In 2012 the Nike kit worn against Barcelona had an old school look to it with a high number of hoops which went down well with a minimal sponsors logo.

The Martin O’Neill/Seville style kit had panels down the side but perhaps based on the memories of the football from that era is recalled fondly.

Since the Adidas deal was announced on March 13 there has been no further comment from the club or the kit supplier.

With group training in Scotland suspended until June 10 Celtic’s next match will almost certainly be after June 1 meaning that Neil Lennon’s men will be kitted out in Adidas style hoops.
