The explosive Ibrox dossier that has forced an EGM of the SPFL will be revealed ‘later this week’.

On April 11 Douglas Park called for the resignations of Neil Doncaster and Rod McKenzie with an EGM scheduled for May 12 to vote on whether an independent investigation is required into the vote to decide the four divisions based on average points per game.

Last Friday Stewart Robertson failed to share the dossier during a video conference call between Premiership clubs with the issue beginning to dominate over more pressing matters.

On Sunday The Sun claimed that the dossier would be shared on Tuesday but, predictably, that deadline came and went with the hush-hush dossier still a closely guarded secret.

This morning Keith Jackson explains to Record readers:

Meanwhile, Doncaster’s own position on Hampden’s sixth floor remains secure after Rangers once again delayed going public with a dossier of evidence which they believe presents a damning case against the chief executive.

The Ibrox club insist they do still intend to release their information later this week, ahead of an EGM next Tuesday when all 42 clubs will decide whether or not it merits ordering an independent QC led probe into the conduct of Doncaster and the SPFL board during the pandemic crisis.

All 12 top flight clubs were promised during a Premiership summit last Friday that the evidence would be handed over by Tuesday.

Those clubs have rescheduled their next meeting for Thursday when it is likely they will again press Rangers for something of substance – while also declaring their individual positions on the controversial SPFL proposal to end the current campaign with immediate effect.

There hasn’t been a single leak about what may be in the dossier which was backed by Hearts and Stranraer to call an EGM.
