It has been a very quiet news day so far with little more to discuss than the self-pity of Brendan Rodgers and Jonny Hayes’ departure from Celtic.
Neither story is particularly new but there were some fresh aspects to it before the wisdom of Charlie Nicholas surfaced through his column in The Express.
According to the armchair expert Olivier Ntcham, Boli Bolingoli and Vakoun Bayo should be out the door this summer to make way for a permanent deal for Fraser Forster.

After more than a decade of shared coverage Sky Sports has exclusive rights to the next five seasons of SPFL football.
With no competition Sky has two options open- either they wind down coverage even more with little pre and post-match coverage and analysis or they could go all in realising that for little outlay they can proportionately pick up a decent slice of the market. Football has a far bigger pull over people than almost anywhere else in Europe.
Over the last few years David Tanner, Neil McCann and Kris Commons have dropped off the Sky Sports roster. Whether they call in Chris Sutton, Michael Stewart and Ally McCoist remains to be seen with BT Sport’s only coverage next season coming from the Champions League and Europa League.
