Jonny Hayes is a signing target for Dundee United.
After a three-year exile Robbie Neilson delivered promotion back to the top flight with the club aiming for a top six place on their return to the top flight.
Hayes spent three years at Celtic winning every honour that the Scottish game has to offer but wasn’t offered a contract to extend his deal.

We know Jonny, he’s been a great player over the years and one that we have spoken about
Although he will be 33 next month the Dubliner has never been short of energy playing in any position on the left hand side.
In his last 18 months at Celtic Hayes played mainly as a left-back, initially providing cover for Kieran Tierney then competing with Greg Taylor and Boli Bolingoli.
Aberdeen and Preston have also been linked with the Irish internationalist who has been in Scotland for 11 years, initially with Inverness Caley Thistle before moving to Aberdeen.
