The excitement of 9-in-a-row seems to be affecting Celtic’s social media team.
Over the last nine seasons there has been plenty of highlights to relive including a good few in Glasgow derbies.
To appreciate the good times there is often some medicine beforehand with the 2010/11 season one that ultimately ended in the pain of second place. Fortunately that pain hasn’t been repeated with a generation of young fans knowing constant title success.

Are you sure that Gorgeous Georgios’ goals were part of the 9 in a row. If I recall we had to go there again later in the season and he missed a penalty which ultimately cost us the title – am I wrong?

Celtic went to Ibrox on the back of two wins but before that they had drawn three successive matches as Lennon tried to put a winning team together in his first season in management.
It had taken two stoppage times goals from Ki Sung Yeung and Cha Du Ri to beat St Johnstone a week earlier, both players were called away by South Korea to play in the Asian Cup. On the eve of going to Ibrox marquee signing Freddie Ljungberg had called off sick.
Dan Majstorovic and Thomas Rogne teamed up in central defence, Charlie Mulgrew went into left midfield with Paddy McCourt given a starting role.
Georgios Samaras was the star of the show, opening the scoring from an amazing Joe Ledley pass then finishing the match from the penalty spot with 20 minutes left to play.
The season ultimately ended in disappointment but since 2012 it has been success all the way with Samaras a part of the early days under Lennon first time around.
