Celtic have released their first video from Loughborough University but there is little for fans to get excited over.
The new range of Adidas training wear was put to good use on an overcast day in the English midlands with Gavin Strachan playing a lead role as the players were put through a mix of physical work as well as time on the ball.
There is no goal action from the training session with no pointers as to who might be catching the eye as the 30 strong squad were put through their paces at the home of UK athletics.
Next Thursday Celtic play their first season, switching to the south of France to take on Lyon followed by Nice two days later.
Neil Lennon has still to add to his first team squad although he has secured the return of Moi Elyounoussi from Southampton.
Securing a similar deal for Fraser Forster is a priority but as it stands Scott Bain is the only keeper as the club with first team experience.
