Scott Brown doesn’t appear to have any regrets about his booking against Dundee United with the Celtic skipper sharing an image of the alleged crime on his Instagram account.

Between Albian Ajeti scoring the only goal of the game and United re-starting Brown fell foul on Andrew Dallas who had shown little understanding for the laws of the game throughout the 90 plus minutes.

Video coverage of the goal showed Brown close to the action as Ajeti scored but other than cheering the goal there seemed nothing to get upset over. He didn’t go over to the grounded Dundee United players, when the ball hit the net he turned to congratulate the scorer.

No harm was done on the day by the booking but a player in Brown’s position is likely to pick up a few booking over the course of the season leading to a suspension.

During Lockdown Bobby Madden, Willie Collum and John Beaton were sent out to show the human face of referees with appearances on podcast.

An explanation of bookings and other decisions would be far more beneficial for the game, players and supporters than some trendy podcast discussions.
