Neil Lennon is adamant that none of his players will be leaving Celtic before the transfer window closes on Monday night.

The Celtic boss has had to field constant speculation about his first team squad with no transfer fees received so far this year.

Celtic have spent £13m signing Albian Ajeti, Vasilis Barkas and David Turnbull with significant loan fees needed to bring in Shane Duffy and Moi Elyounoussi.

Losing out to Ferencvaros meant that there will be no £30m Champions League pay out for this season but Lennon is confident that the books won’t be balanced by selling any of his big names.

Asked if Europa League qualification would impact on transfer activity Lennon said:

I don’t think that that is an issue for us now in terms of players leaving. I think the club are going to be and are quite strong on that. I don’t want anyone to leave, we want to keep all of our assets and regardless of the result tomorrow night that will be the case.

There has been regular speculation about interest in Kris Ajer and Odsonne Edouard but with two years left on their contracts there is no pressure for Celtic to sell.

Ryan Christie and Olivier Ntcham are in the same situation with an offer accepted for Tom Rogic only for the player to knock back a move to Qatar.
