Odsonne Edouard and Nir Bitton are back in the Celtic side to face Riga tonight in the Europa League third round qualifier.

Both men were among the subs for Saturday’s 3-2 win over Livingston but are restored to favour with Neil Lennon retaining his preferred 3-5-2 formation.

Bitton looks like jining Shane Duffy and Kris Ajer in defence while Edouard replaces Albian Ajeti in attack, supported by Ryan Christie.

Since being knocked out of the Champions League by Ferencvaros Celtic have came up with four successive wins in the SPFL. Shane Duffy and David Turnbull were signed on the back of that defeat with Albian Ajeti starting two of the domestic wins.

The winners of tonight’s tie will be on the road for the Play Off with a match away to Budu?nost Podgorica or FK Sarajevo. The match officials are all from Portugal.

Reaching the group phase last season was worth £2.75m to Celtic who topped that up to £6m by winning four matches, drawing one and topping their group.

CELTIC: Barkas; Bitton,Duffy, Ajer;  Forrest, Brown, McGregor, Ntcham, Taylor; Christie, Edouard

SUBS: Bain, Ajeti, Klimala, Turnbull, Elyounoussi, Frimpong, Elhamed
