West Ham have rejected an offer from Celtic to take Robert Snodgrass on a season long loan.
Neil Lennon is known to be looking for a left-back or left wing-back but it’s believed that an approach was made for the former Scotland midfielder over the weekend.
As a life long Celtic fan Snodgrass wouldn’t require too much convincing to return to Glasgow but it looks unlikely that he will get the call.
UPDATE: West Ham have told Celtic they will not entertain a loan deal for Robert Snodgrass, unless there is a significant fee involved.@SkySportsNews understands the Hammers would also be open to selling the player on a permanent transfer.

Earlier this summer Celtic and West Ham agreed a deal for Albian Ajeti but coming up with a fee and matching the wages of a 33-year-old with a year left on his deal would be a very different proposition.
Snodgrass has spent more than a decade in English football since leaving Livingston for Leeds United before moving on to Norwich and Hull City.
Celtic haven’t signed anyone since bringing Shane Duffy on loan from Brighton a month ago with just over 24 hours left in the window.
