Nir Bitton is the latest Celtic player ruled out of the upcoming internationals due to injury.

The defender picked up an ankle injury in the opening stages of the 1-0 win over Sarajevo and was replaced by Hatem Abd Elhamed.

James Forrest and Albian Ajeti were injured in the two previous matches with Neil Lennon confirming the bad news about Bitton after Celtic clinched their place in the group stage of the Europa League.

Chris Jullien returned to the squad last night after missing three matches through a back injury and could be in from the start against St Johnstone on Sunday.

The win in Bosnia made it six wins out of six during the current batch of fixtures but the mounting injury toll will be a concern for the Celtic boss.

At noon today the draw will begin for the Europa League with Celtic among the top seeds in Pot 1.
