The committee of the NAFCSC’s has decided to call off the 2021 convention in Vegas.
Continuing concerns about travel and health issues led to the decision with thousands of fans booked up or making plans to celebrate what they hoped would be a historic season for the hoops.
Around 5,000 fans were expected for a week of celebrations and activities arranged by the hard-working committee calling on 30 years of experience with former players dating back to the Lisbon Lions in attendance.
The Vegas Convention is the biggest social event on the calendar for Celtic fans with a split among supporters from all across North America and the UK and Ireland.
While other cancelled events have been replaced by Zoom calls and online alternatives that option doesn’t quite stand up for fans used to the magic of Celtic and Vegas.
All official travel packages from Scotland were quickly sold out but fans from every continent will now be making alternative plans and hoping that things can resume in 2022 after a two year break.
Hail Hail Folks,
It’s with heavy heart we are canceling the 2021 Las Vegas Convention. https://t.co/Zst8jycIar

Seamus. It broke our hearts as we know how much this meant to people in the current environment.
Words can’t describe what it took to make and live with this decision.
All we can do now is keep the faith and bring home 10 in a row.

Totally gutted to hear this ,but expected it to happen.
Appreciate all the hard work that the committee guys put into organising these great conventions. Hopefully we are all safe & sound for 2022.
