Celtic fans will have to pay £15 to Hibs to watch next Saturday’s SPFL match from Easter Road.

With Sky Sports choosing not to televise the match the only way to view the action will be via Hibs TV in the company of David Tanner and Tam McManus.

Hibs should easily be able to generate an unexpected £100,000 as Celtic fans fork out to watch Neil Lennon’s side in action. Celtic’s last three matches have all been on different stations with different broadcasters:

Aberdeen, Scottish Cup, Premier Sports

Sparta Prague, Europa League, BT Sport

Motherwell, SPFL, Sky Sports

While the additional payment is an obstacle Hibs fans were unable to watch their side play at Celtic Park earlier in the season with Celtic’s home SPFL matches not available to buy on an individual basis.

Neil Lennon will have to wait until next Thursday before he can start to put his side together with the bulk of the squad on international duty.

Celtic only played once at Easter Road last season, drawing 1-1 which is a result to be avoided next week. This Sunday Hibs are at home to Dundee in the Betfred Cup with the match priced at £15.
