During a day of speculation that centred on Gordon Strachan before moving to Martin O’Neill the Celtic Rumour Mill settled late in the day on John Kennedy.
All the while Neil Lennon remained in charge of Celtic with nothing concrete emerging about his future in the job.
Training continued as usual in the ironic situation of Lennon in charge alongside the son, Gavin Strachan of one rumoured replacement, with another ‘contender’, Kennedy also by his side.

The truth seems to be that there is a complete stand off with no-one capable of decisive action with Celtic’s season hanging by a thread.
Before the Advent calendars started to open Celtic find themselves out of the Champions League, Europa League and Betfred Cup. In the SPFL they trail by 11 points having dropped points in four matches- the same number as they did in last season’s 30 match campaign.
Lennon looks like going in front of the media on Wednesday to preview the Milan match despite the speculation that the Ross County defeat was his last match in charge.
‘Caretaker and interim managers completing at least 10 competitive games will be deemed the permanent manager’
John Kennedy worth a punt at 16/1?

Heard that our new interim manager is either JK for John Kennedy or Jakey for Gavin Strachan. Will update the troops when I figure out which is correct ?

If they appoint John Kennedy as interim manager tomorrow I’m actually gonna die ?

If there’s any truth to the rumour mill and it’s to be John Kennedy in interim charge for a couple of games until Celtic get a clue, that’s fine by me.

John Kennedy gets the interim job, wins our next 2 league games & gets the job on a permanent. Inevitable
