Chris Sutton claims that the people protesting outside Celtic Park tonight aren’t Celtic fans.
He justified that stance by commenting on chants aimed at Neil Lennon. There is evidence on Twitter of personal abuse but it looks to be from a very small number of the fans involved.
Sutton has defended his former team-mate throughout a grim run of just two wins in 10 matches but admitted after the 2-0 defeat from Ross County that Lennon’s time in charge looks to be over.
The people protesting outside Celtic Park can’t call themselves Celtic fans. True Celtic fans wouldn’t be singing despicable songs about a man who has given the club the service Neil Lennon has. They are a disgrace. Self entitled arses.

The abusive chants against Lennon will provide a deflection away from the anger of hundreds of fans who’ve put their faith and cash in the club wile sitting at home watching a historic season fall apart.
Before opening an advent calendar Celtic are out of three cup competitions and trailing by 11 points in the SPFL title race. Lennon was appointed permanent manager in May 2019 on a 12 month rolling contract.
