Neil Lennon has claimed that there were a lot of positives to be taken from Celtic’s Europa League defeat from AC Milan.
For 15 minutes it looked great for the visitors as they went in front through goals from Tom Rogic and Odsonne Edourd.
For a few minutes there was a little hope for the watching Celtic support but within 10 minutes they rediscovered that old sinking feeling with the Italian league leaders back on level terms.
Neil Lennon speaking to @CelticTV after #ACMCEL:
?? “We had plenty of great play going forward and good control of the midfield at times. We looked really positive. I thought there was a lot to be positive about.” #UEL pic.twitter.com/2W8AnZ2h3I

Lennon switched to a back three for tonight’s match but there was little sign of cohesion or understanding among the visitors as they looked vulnerable every time that Milan crossed the half-way line.
Lennon has tried virtually everything during a dismal run of two wins in 11 matches with the stats loading up against him, tonight’s comments won’t fool anyone with 12 goals lost in the last four matches at home and in Europe.
