Peter Lawwell has been invited onto a Celtic State of Mind with £10,000 going to charity if the Celtic CEO agrees to speak.
Over the weekend of the Scottish Cup Final ACSOM are running back-to-back podcasts as part of a major charity drive ahead of Christmas.
Lawwell is forever talking up Celtic’s charitable origins and promoting the Celtic Foundation, with one pre-recorded interview he would be able to unleash £10,000 to be used across central Scotland and give his image and popularity a much-needed boost. In the year to 30 June 2019 Lawwell was paid £3.5m from Celtic.
This year the Celtic CEO has kept a very low profile with just one newspaper interview given to the Daily Record in June explaining his hopes to stage a test event at Celtic Pak before the season opened in August.
Following the criticism and protests after Celtic’s Betfred Cup defeat from Ross County Lawwell did issue a statement asking fans to rally in support of the club.

Discussing a corporate sponsor of Celtic Dykes revealed:
They have actually got in touch and said that they will throw their £9,000 into the pot (ACSOM charity fundraiser) should Peter Lawwell agree to this interview so we have £10,000 riding on Peter Lawwell speaking to Celtic State of Mind, all going to charity, how amazing is that?
In May 2018 Lawwell did take part in a podcast with Harry Brady of Celtic Underground, CLICK HERE to listen.
