Chris Sutton has admitted that he can’t see Neil Lennon turning Celtic’s season around.
The hoops boss is under incredible pressure from fans to quit with the protest banner on The Celtic Way this afternoon well received by most fans.
After watching Celtic throw away to two goal lead away to AC Milan last night Lennon remained upbeat claiming that there were plenty of positives to be taken from the third successive defeat.
Sutton was co-commentator for BT Sports on the match and took a different view from his former team-mate.

The time to make the decision on Neil going, or sacking Neil or parting or whatever you want to call it would have been after the Ross County game.
And I know that they seemingly didn’t want to be seen governed by the mob rule outside the club on that evening but I think that we all expected Neil to go on that night or the following day or two and the evidence last night was that he cannot turn this round.
There were no media duties from Celtic today although Neil Lennon did provide some material last night in Milan to preview Sunday’s match against St Johnstone.
After two wins from 11 matches it would be hard to see Lennon survive another winless match on Sunday but as Sutton said if he was to leave the home defeat from Ross County would have been the obvious time.
