Neil Lennon has made two changes to the Celtic side that lost to Ross County for tonight’s Europa League tie with AC Milan in the San Siro.

Nir Bitton comes in for Chris Jullien in defence with Jeremie Frimpong replacing Moi Elyounoussi with Diego Laxalt likely to be pushed into a five man midfield. Celtic have named 10 substitutes, two less than AC Milan

Last week’s 4-1 defeat from Sparta Prague ended Celtic’s hopes of progressing to the knock-out phase, a win for Milan tonight coupled with Lille beating Sparta will take the Italian side through to the next stage.

The defeat in the Czech capital brought about a wave of criticism for Neil Lennon but the Irishman survived as he did again on Sunday after a 2-0 Betfred Cup defeat from Ross County.

The anger of the fans spilled over into a demonstration in the Car Park after the match, two nights later Peter Lawwell finally spoke out to the fans but his statement failed to get many fans onside.

CELTIC: Barkas; Elhamed, Bitton, Ajer; Frimpong, Brown, McGregor; Rogic, Laxalt; Christie, Edouard.

SUBS: Bain, Hazard, Jullien, Taylor, Ajeti, Klimala, Soro, Ntcham, Henderson, Welsh
