Pictures have emerged online of what appears to be Scott Brown and Neil Lennon enjoying poolside drinks at Celtic’s Dubai Training Base.
The club kept a low profile over the trip, unlike previous seasons where it was billed as a much needed boost and break to fire up the squad for the resumption following two weekends off in January.
There is no Winter Break this year but having got the match with Hibs put back until January 11 the Celtic squad flew out to Dubai after losing at Ibrox to fall 19 points in the SPFL Premiership ‘race’.
Fans have been critical of the club making the trip during the worst season in 25 years while they are increasingly restricted by protocols at home.
