Steven Gerrard has hinted at other issues while revealing that his club will appeal the two match suspension offered to Kemar Roofe for his stamp on Murray Davidson.

Last Tuesday while accepting a second retrospective suspension for Alfredo Morelos the Ibrox boss expressed a wish for consistency from the SFA- a message that the Ibrox media corps picked up willingly and ran with.

The following day the British Broadcasting Corporation and Sky Sports highlighted an incident where Aaron Tshibola ran into Scott Brown with the SFA accepting a second prize by charging Albian Ajeti with simulation.

Unfortunately for Gerrard his consistency plea rebounded badly when referee David Munro bottled out of becoming the first referee to show a red card to an Ibrox player this season when Roofe went over the ball to sink his studs into Davidson’s lower leg.

Once again crime paid. In both Morelos cases the Ibrox side went on to claim full points when they should have played more than half of the match with 10 men.

When he gets to explain in detail the situation maybe the SFA can remind him of the recent Roll of Dishonour that has favoured his club.

December 13- Steven McLean gives a yellow card to Alfredo Morelos for a first half forearm smash on Mark Connolly of Dundee United. The Ibrox men go on to win 2-1 and accept a two match suspension for Morelos.

January 2- Madden allows a stamp by Morelos on Jeremie Frimpong to go unpunished, he later sends off Bitton for a foul on the Colombian. Madden later puts both arms round Morelos to restrain him but issues no card.

January 27- Kevin Clancy refuses to red card Morelos for a stamp on Ryan Porteous, telling Jack Ross that it was a tangle of legs. Morelos scores the only goal of the game with another two match retrospective suspension from the SFA.

February 3- David Munro watches Kemar Roofe go over the ball to stamp on the lower leg of St Johnstone’s Murray Davidson and shows a yellow card. The Ibrox men win 1-0 with the SFA offering Roofe a two match suspension.

February 7- Bobby Madden only yellow cards Filip Helander after he fouls Jamie Hamilton as he prepares to take a shot at goal. A few minutes later the Ibrox side take the lead but Ross Callachan earns Hamilton a point with a stoppage time equaliser.
