Olivier Ntcham is in line for his Marseilles debut on Wednesday after a traumatic first week with the French side.

The midfielder completed a Deadline Day loan move but the following day Andre Villas-Boas resigned as manager with the signing of Ntcham against his wishes the final straw for the former Spurs and Chelsea boss.

Marseilles have been in horrendous form, sitting in ninth place their fans stormed their training ground forcing the French League to postpone their home match with Rennes last weekend.

It seems that there has been a registration delay in getting Ntcham available but caretaker boss Nassert Larguet told the Daily Record that the loan Celt is ready to begin his Marseilles career.

As soon as Olivier Ntcham’s administrative issues are resolved, he will be in the team. I very much hope and expect he will be available and ready to play against Auxerre this week.

Yesterday Marseilles lost 2-0 at home to Paris Saint Germain with Wednesday’s match against Auxerre in the French Cup, on Sunday they travel to Bordeaux on league business.

Ntcham’s last Celtic appearance was as a substitute for the last 20 minutes of the 2-0 win over Ross County on December 23.
