For the second match running Kris Boyd is missing from Sky Sports coverage of Celtic in the SPFL Premiership.
In midweek John Collins stood in for the former Kilmarnock and Portland Timbers star, at Perth this afternoon Shaun Maloney was drafted in to team up with James McFadden with Andy Walker on co-commentating duty.
Boyd is one of the main stays of Sky’s Scottish coverage, being part of their line up for Celtic’s matches against Hibs, Livingston and Kilmarnock but his attitude and approach caused anger among Celtic supporters.

Like Boyd Walker appears almost exclusively on Sky Sports but McFadden is also a regular on the BBC’s Scottish coverage.
Ex Celt Maloney is the assistant manager to Roberto Martinez with the Belgian national side and makes very limited media appearances.
Last Sunday Boyd was part of Sky’s coverage as Hamilton earned a draw with Steven Gerrard’s league leaders.
