Neil Lennon has been forced into one change from the Celtic side that beat Kilmarnock 4-0 on Tuesday night.

With Ryan Christie injured Tom Rogic has been recalled to the starting XI leaving Ismaila Soro on the bench. The introduction of Soro and David Turnbull in mid-December brought about the only improved run of results since September.

Despite the threat of a two match SFA ban Albian Ajeti keeps his place in the side, teaming up with Odsonne Edouard in attack. Jonjoe Kenny, on loan from Everton, makes his home debut.

Celtic have already beaten Motherwell twice this season, scoring seven goals for the loss of one but under Graeme Alexander the Lanarkshire side have won back-to-back games against Ross County and Dundee United to ease themselves six points away from bottom placed Hamilton.

CELTIC: Bain; Kenny, Welsh, Ajer, Taylor; Turnbull, Rogic, Brown, McGregor; Edouard, Ajeti

SUBS: Barkas, Duffy, Griffiths, Klimala, Soro, Johnston, Elyounoussi, Henderson, Laxalt
