The Green Brigade has put Peter Lawwell in the spotlight as Season Ticket holders wait to discover Celtic’s notion of ‘added value’.

Last summer the club embarked on a Season Ticket Renewal campaign in which there was no guarantee that fans would be able to attend any matches.

In good faith 50,000 fans paid up for tickets with the promise of ‘added value’ as the club embarked on what they hoped would be a historic season.

Hopes of attending matches were gradually downplayed, by the time of the second Lockdown in January it became quite clear that there wouldn’t be any fans attending matches this season.

Our representatives were present at a meeting with Peter Lawwell and club officials last summer when the club committed to maintaining the value of the Season Ticket.

It is regrettable that they have yet to live up to this promise, however we feel that this proposal would ensure a positive outcome for all.

Added Value so far has amounted to a couple of cup ties being added to the streaming service on Pass to Paradise with very little communicated to supporters.

The Celtic Trust has proposed that Season Ticket holders are repaid in shares, putting the value of the club’s streaming service for this season at £90.

At some stage in the next month the club will begin the campaign to sell tickets for next season, with the club in a state of confusion and no sign of ‘added value’ shirting another 50,000 tickets will require a massive effort.
