Two weeks after resigning from Celtic Neil Lennon returned to football with a place in the BBC 5 Live Commentary Box at Old Trafford tonight.

The former Celtic boss shared his thoughts as a late goal from Simon Kjaer gave AC Milan an equaliser against Manchester United who had opened the scoring through teenage substitute Amad Diallo.

Down the years Lennon has been a regular pundit on 5 Live! Including coverage of the 2014 World Cup Finals in Brazil.

The former Celtic boss didn’t have far to look for information on the Italian side who beat Celtic home and away in the group stage.

When he was introduced at the start of the match coverage Lennon said that he was looking to get back into management but like so many others in his situation he just has to wait for someone else leaving before he can get the chance to pick up on his two years back in charge of Celtic.
