Two days before the start of the season talks are underway at Ibrox to bring in winger Jahnoah Markelo on loan from Coventry City.
Despite the hype of the Derek McInnes Revolution his squad has been left with Findlay Curtis as the only functioning winger.
Instead the club has been collecting midfielders, all of then low scoring.
Dan Neill is the new captain. Google him. Midfielders Cammy Devlin and Vanja Dragojevic have also signed.
Added to Connor Barron, Mo Diomande, Thelo Aasgaard, Nedim Bajrami, Lyall Cameron and Tochi Chukwuani. Don’t forget Jose Cifuentes, the final piece in Micky Beale’s jigsaw.
All through the summer the loyal messengers have been sharing the good news.
Many bears are standing by for the arrivals of Lewis Ferguson, Mikey Moore and Vaclav Cerny.
It could be along wait.
In the meantime the top spin will be applied to Markelo, coming in from Coventry. The hype might match that for the January arrival of Skov Olsen.
On loan what happened to these Billionaires ???

So far around £6m has been spent on this summer’s Staunch Revolution. Mostly on goalkeeper Ivor Pandur. He has the big mouth of Jack Butland to fill in for.
Butland is the only player to leave Ibrox for a transfer fee. Conveniently used to fund the signing of Pandur from Hull City.
NO BIDS FOR THE CELEBRATED IBROX STARS
No bids have come in for Nico Raskin, Manny Fernandez or Youssef Chermiti. For months we were alerted to offers coming in starting at £20m.
In the real world there is very limited interest in the third best team in Scotland. Or a side that won one Europa League match, finishing 32nd out of 36.
Raskin won’t be involved against Dundee United on Friday.
He hasn’t been spotted back at Murray Park.
He is entitled to his break.
Belgium were knocked out of the World Cup on July 10. Raskin is due back for training on Saturday.
McInnes must decide whether to integrate Raskin into his plans. Or wait on that £20m offer coming in from Hull City.
After Dundee United McInnes takes his side to Poland to face Jagiellonia in the third round Europa League qualifier.

Mind when the Daily Record were photoshopping Lewis Ferguson in a Sevco strip and included him in their new season team line up pictures
That underwhelming ‘squad rebuild’ for the new ibrox manager,
might encourage our own Board to drag its feet even more, having signed a couple of players?
It’s going to be a tough season for McInnes and for MON…?
Obviously money in Govanlandia is tighter than a brown jockstrap so the tabloids have conjured up a magnificent tale that theRangers no hoper -Mr Antman – will pocket them £4.5 million sovs when he gets pumped to another club !
He’s been there for a season …a second choice player at best …and a guy who has scored less goals for the tribute act than trophies won since 2012 !
If wee Connor Barron gets offloaded how much will the SMSM rate his value at ? He’s not scored a single goal in his two seasons at Ibroxland …name your price ?
Seem to have signed more players than us to have nae money?
Lol,it’s the sell-on clause which will be comedy gold when the loan players go back to their parent club, remember Bayern having to give sevco a cut of the transfer fee from one of their players that made a few special guest star appearances for the new klub from ibrox.
The media up here actually ran that story with a straight face as well, only for sevco to end up with the middle of a doughnut.
Watch should other ten bob players show up before the window shuts how these players turned down offers to play in the EPL to play for sevco or the top leagues in Europe.
Wouldn’t be laughing at any c**t just yet. Are we happy with our work, two signings and all’s good? Exodus about tae happen?
Time (along with terrified cheats with whistles flags and monitors) will tell how they do…
But I’ll credit them with one thing…
They certainly don’t f#uck about and know how to close a deal – And quickly at that – for whoever their manager is !
