Not long after Dermot Desmond’s underwhelming address to Celtic fans the Gonzagga Twitter account echoed similar sentiments.
A largely dormant Twitter account sprung to life on the back of the home defeat from St Mirren at the end of January, a little bit of digging suggests it may well be close to someone close to Celtic’s largest, but not majority shareholder.
In seven Questions and Answers published at tea-time on Tuesday Celtic fans discovered that Desmond knows best about everything involving the club although a few decisions this season appear to have gone wrong.
Celtic are moving forward. Principal shareholder pinned his colours to the mast today. We move forward together. Some of the hyperbole from has been risible, however, the club is in a strong position to progress and it will. Current custodians have a track record of success.

Appalling euro record ?
Zero ambition ?
Going backwards fast ?
Clueless board ?
Arrogant majority shareholder ?— East Lothian Hare Whisperer – Andy (@HareEast) March 23, 2021
Unless Res 12 is dealt with, then despite what the club says, it’s all about the Old Firm and money.
Anything else is just noise.
The club have been sitting on the letter from UEFA for 5 years now.

Some of the ‘interviews’ with the custodians have been risible.

The solution appears to be to put your trust for the future in the men that masterminded this disastrous season and took no account of the warning signs that went off after the Champions League exit to Ferencvaros. By the time of four successive home defeats in the autumn the club had decided that sticking with Neil Lennon was the best course of action.
A month after Lennon resigned there is no obvious sign of a club on the brink of change. As the season stumbled along under the Irishman John Kennedy has been handed responsibility with no sign of support.
Season Ticket renewal time isn’t far away, it is virtually General Election time for the Celtic board.
The last time they got a fright from the Opinion Polls was in 2016 with Ronny Deila in charge, a similarly underwhelming response is expected for the club without a manager, a demob happy CEO and a captain about to pledge his future to Aberdeen rather than hang around as part of the car crash.
