Eddie Howe was priced at 12/1 with the odds being trimmed on the 43-year-old taking the Spurs job following the sacking of Jose Mourinho.
The former Bournemouth boss has been strongly linked with the vacant manager’s job at Celtic.
Mourinho’s sacking has come as a shock with Spurs six days away from a cup final and the chance to end their decade long trophy drought.
When Spurs sacked Mauricio Pochettino they had Mourinho lined up within 48 hours to take over. Earlier in 2019 Pochettino had led Spurs to the final of the Champions League.
There has been no comment directly from Howe or Celtic despite intense speculation but the sacking of Mourinho could have a domino effect on the management market which has been largely static this year.
Brendan Rodgers at 6/1 is second favourite to Julian Nagelsmann (currently at RB Leipzig), if the Irishman leaves Leicester it is inevitable that Howe will be linked with that job.
