With two months advance warning the Scottish Government are again left watching mass law breaking on the streets of Glasgow.
At the start of March Covidiots gathered with immunity at Ibrox and Murray Park, when they decided to march into the centre of Glasgow they were given a Police escort with 28 arrests made for minor offences. George Square was trashed with city centre residents forced to stay indoors.
The week after Nicola Sturgeon, John Swinney and Humza Yousaf all expressed their anger and disgust, nine weeks later they are watching a repeat on a bigger scale after the lack of action at the start of March.
Half hearted messages from Steven Gerrard have practically excused fans from gathering in their thousands around Ibrox. Yesterday the First Minister announced that Glasgow will remain in Tier 3.
City centre businesses weren’t taking any chances as they shut up shop, now the spotlight is on Police Scotland to enforce the law or stand back as one group of people do whatever they like with the rest of the population to suffer the consequences.
This is the key point – take personal responsibility.
While there is a significant Police presence at Ibrox and across City, this is ultimately about personal responsibility. If you have gathered you should disperse, particularly given yday’s announcement about Covid in Glasgow. https://t.co/TOEUSbIzTo

So you can ram Your own personal responsibility!— Stef Williams (@StefWilliams6) May 15, 2021
For the record, I would not support any political gathering (for any reason) just now or Celtic gatherings. The Kenmure Street thing had to happen.

Seems it’s different rules for Rangers fans, police happy to aid and abet them trashing the city and running amok! Disgraceful that Celtic and other shops have had to close for fear of being trashed!
