It is the focal point of Glasgow, an area of space, greenery and sitting areas surrounded on four sides by the Civic HQ, a hotel and train station and the hospitality that the city feeds off.

Yesterday George Square took on a new and very nasty look as thousands of drunken, brawling Covidiots were allowed to perform on their stage in full view of Police Scotland and CCTV. It has been reported that over 20 arrests have been made.

Thousands are back home this morning reliving and sharing the fun with their friends and families.

Glasgow is a resilient city, the local Council saw what happened in March, looked at the wishy-washy appeals from the Government, Police and a football club and prepared for the inevitable. Overnight a clean-up operation went into action, today the cover up will begin to downplay the events of yesterday.

High jinks and over-exuberance will be popular, the Old Firm will be introduced at every opportunity but as they return back to their communities to spread the virus the figures won’t lie, the virus had a party yesterday in Glasgow with the perfect opportunity to be shared.

The NHS will again pick up the tab, areas will move back to Tier 3 and Tier 4. It was all so predictable and preventable but no one in Scotland would dream of standing up for the majority as they allowed the underclass free reign to indulge themselves and their warped culture.
